After a year of out-of-the-ordinary experiences, Theatre Three's next season is a mix of classic drama, new works, and a celebration of the local talent in DFW. Following a season of streaming, the critically-acclaimed success of the traveling production of The Music Man and because of the ongoing construction at The Quadrangle, the Theatre Three team plans to continue to break the mold with a fully nomadic season. All programming will take place outside of the Theatre Three building at various indoor and outdoor venues.

Westport Country Playhouse has selected two HD videos from its archives of performances captured live on stage for streaming on demand. The Playhouse’s 2018 production of “Man of La Mancha,” the Tony Award-winning musical following Don Quixote’s quest for “The Impossible Dream,” will stream on-demand from Monday, August 23-Sunday, September 5.

The Public Theater will begin performances of the 2021 Free Shakespeare in the Park production of MERRY WIVES on Tuesday, July 6 at The Delacorte Theater. The all-Black staging of the delightful comedy will officially open on Tuesday, July 27 and was recently extended by three weeks to now end on Saturday, September 18.

The Public Theater announced today that Free Shakespeare in the Park will return this summer with the delightful comedy MERRY WIVES, adapted by award-winning Jocelyn Bioh and directed by Associate Artistic Director and Resident Director Saheem Ali.

Deemed one of the '25 Coolest Film Festivals in the World' by MovieMaker Magazine in 2019, the Third Horizon Film Festival returns for its fifth edition. This year the festival will be hosted hybrid style with a thoughtfully curated mix of in-person and virtual screenings beginning June 24, 2021, through July 1, 2021, in Miami, Florida.

Theatre Three Artistic Director Jeffrey Schmidt continues to lead Dallas's theatre-in-the-round in Uptown in a bold direction, favoring an eclectic mix of classic drama, exciting musicals, and his hallmark, a celebration of the local.

Texas-born, Louisiana-raised pianist, songwriter and vocalist Marcia Ball -- the official 2018 Texas State Musician -- will give two performances at The Iridium in New York on Monday, April 6, 2020.

Danielle Brooks and John Keating have been selected to receive the 2019 Joe A. Callaway Award presented by the Actors' Equity Foundation. Artistic Director Brigid Larmour today announces programming to complete Watford Palace Theatre's season for September 2019 - June 2020, following the world première of Mushy: Lyrically Speaking earlier this month. The co-production with Rifco Theatre Company is now on tour across the UK until 5 October.
