Full casting has been announced for the upcoming production of THE MISANTHROPE, which is set to open on the West End with previews beginning December 7th. As previously announced, the cast will include Tara Fitzgerald, Keira Knightley, Damian Lewis, Tim McMullan, and Dominic Rowan. Joining the cast will be Chuk Iwuji, Kelly Price, and Nicholas Le Prevost. Directed by Thea Sharrock, the play opens at the Comedy Theatre on December 17.
In her West End debut, Keira Knightley is turning out to be quite the good luck charm for The Misanthrope. According to a report in London's Daily Mail, the production has taken in a whopping £1million in just four days. According to the report, this kind of number for a straight play is something the West End has never seen before.
