A comic drama about loss, hope, and finding the power to believe... from the adult's perspective!
By Steven Dietz. THE GREAT BEYOND reunites estranged sisters who have lost their father, the Captain, and whose contentious relationship remains unresolved. While the house is being packed away, Monica, Emily, and their partners decide to conduct a seance to contact the Captain. The seance produces the results they hoped for in familiar and completely unexpected ways.
Companion piece to THE GHOST OF SPLINTER COVE, June 14-23. Both plays are set in the same house on the same evening on different levels. Both are independent and stand on their own. However, audiences will gain an even deeper understanding of the characters and storylines by experiencing both plays.
