After a week in theatres, the much-anticipated adaptation of tick, tick...BOOM! is officially available to stream on Netflix! We're chatting with the first-time director- the wonderful Lin-Manuel Miranda.

Berkeley Repertory Theatre will presented The Waves in Quarantine, a project consisting of six short films that meditates on friendship, loss, and the making of art in this world-changing year, inspired by Virginia Woolf's 1931 masterpiece.

BroadwayWorld's own Richard Ridge, says of this episode of Broadway Rewind, 'It is jammed packed with Albee, Brooks and Pinter and I had one of the biggest pinch me moments of chatting with one of the greatest playwrights Edward Albee, himself. We head to Second Stage for the opening of Edward Albee's Peter and Jerry but we start off at the first day of rehearsal for revival of the Harold Pinter classic, The Homecoming which featured a stellar cast including Ian McShane, Raul Esparza, Eve Best and Michael McKeen. Director Daniel Sullivan told me what he loved about the play, 'When I read it now, almost 40 years after it was done, it still scares me. I had never directed Pinter, so I thought it was about time.''

Broadway favorite Krysta Rodriguez made her long-awaited Feinstein's/54 Below solo debut this fall, and we're getting a look at one of the concert's standout songs: the 'Beyvita' medley. Krysta makes lemonade out of lemons after getting some unexpected feedback from audition for an international production of Evita. The medley mashes up various Beyoncé and Destiny's Child songs with songs from the musical Evita. Check out the video to see the unique mashup!

Wrapping up the Encores! Off-Center season is  Stephen Sondheim and John Weidman's Road Show, running July 24-27. Directed and choreographed by Will Davis, with music direction by James Moore, Road Show tells the somewhat true story of the Mizner brothers who inherit a small fortune at the turn of the 20th Century and set out to grab their piece of the American Dream in a country where anything seems possible. The production will star Chuck Cooper (Papa Mizner), Raul Esparza (Wilson Mizner), Jin Ha (Hollis Bessemer), Mary Beth Peil (Mama Mizner), and Brandon Uranowitz (Addison Mizner).

Connecticut Repertory Theatre (CRT) continues its 2018-19 season with Paula Vogel's 'A Civil War Christmas: An American Musical Celebration.' Elizabeth VanDyke will direct. For this week's throwback, we are highlighting the 2006 Broadway revival of Company that opened on this day, November 29th, starring Raúl Esparza as Bobby, as well as Barbara Walsh as Joanne. Currently running on the West End is a reimagining of the musical with Rosalie Craig as Bobbie and Patti LuPone as Joanne!
