Vineyard Theatre is presenting the world-premiere production of THE BEAST IN THE JUNGLE- an original dance play by legendary composer and four-time Tony Award winner John Kander (CABARET, CHICAGO), Tony-nominated playwright David Thompson (STEEL PIER; FLORA, THE RED MENACE), and five-time Tony Award-winning director and choreographer Susan Stroman (THE PRODUCERS, CONTACT). THE BEAST IN THE JUNGLE will extend until through Sunday, June 24.

After a smash run last fall, Playwrights Horizons (Tim Sanford, Artistic Director; Leslie Marcus, Managing Director) will present MILES FOR MARY, a new play by The Mad Ones. Peter Friedman, Keilly McQuail, Naian Gonzalez Norvind,Robbie Collier Sublett, Joyce Van Pattenand Mare Winningham are featured in the LCT3/Lincoln Center Theater world premiere of Her Requiem, by Greg Pierce, directed by Kate Whoriskey. Signature Theatre is currently presenting the world premiere of THE OPEN HOUSE, by Will Eno and directed by Oliver Butler.
