SHREK THE MUSICAL today announces full casting for the major nationwide tour, with Amelia Lilyjoining the cast as 'Princess Fiona' from April 2018. As previously announced, Call the Midwife star Laura Main will also play 'Princess Fiona' at selected venues, sharing the role with Amelia while she continues filming on the current BBC series.

The hit Broadway musical The Life makes its long awaited London debut, directed by the show's original Broadway director, Michael Blakemore, at Southwark Playhouse for a strictly limited season now through 29 April 2017, with press night on 29 March. Watch  T'Shan Williams and Sharon D. Clarke perform 'My Friend' in the recording studio below!

As BroadwayWorld previously announced, Beverley Knight will take over the lead role from Heather Headley in The Bodyguard, beginning in September. She will play 'Rachel Marron' opposite Tristan Gemmill. The Bodyguard, which opened in December last year, recently announced the release of over 250,000 tickets for sale taking booking at the Adelphi Theatre to 28 September 2013. Directed by Thea Sharrock and based on Lawrence Kasdan's 1992 Oscar nominated Warner Bros. film, The Bodyguard has book by Alex Dinelaris.
