Gavin Creel has won the 2017 Tony Award for Best Performance by an Actor in a Featured Role in a Musical for Hello, Dolly!. This marks the actor's third Tony nomination and first win. He was previously nominated for 2019's HAIR AND 2002's THROUGHLY MODERN MILLIE. Creel won the 2014 Olivier and WhatsOnStage Awards for his starring role as 'Elder Price' in the London production of THE BOOK OF MORMON.

Manhattan Theatre Club's New York premiere of Cost of Living, the new play by Martyna Majok (Ironbound, Mouse in a Jar), directed by Jo Bonney (Father Comes Home from the Wars; By the Way, Meet Vera Stark), opens next Wednesday, June 7 at MTC at New York City Center - Stage I (131 West 55th Street). Performances began Tuesday May 16.

An emotionally harrowing journey, DEAR EVAN HANSEN is a story that's hits home for a lot of its audience members. At the helm of this production is Michael Greif, who earned a Tony nomination for Best Director of a Musical for his part in bringing this story to life. Ghostlight Records has released the Original Broadway Cast Recording of the new musical War Paint - starring two-time Tony Award winners Patti LuPone and Christine Ebersole - in digital and streaming formats today, Friday, May 26. THE ORIGINALIST, by John Strand (Charles MacArthur Award-winning Lovers and Executioners), directed by Molly Smith (Camp David and Artistic Director of Arena Stage), and starring four-time Helen Hayes Award-winner Edward Gero (Goodman Theatre's Red), tells the story about a liberal law student's nerve-wracking clerkship with Justice Antonin Scalia. THE ORIGINALIST, a co-production with Asolo Repertory Theatre, is now playing through May 7, 2017.

Today, April 18th, we celebrate the birthday of Broadway favorite, Gavin Creel.

The acclaimed new musical War Paint, starring two-time Tony Award winners Patti LuPone and Christine Ebersole, played a sold-out run in Chicago this summer where it became the most successful show in Goodman Theatre's history. Now it comes to Broadway, beginning performances on Tuesday, March 7, 2017 - and officially opens on Thursday, April 6, 2017.

Gloria by Branden Jacobs-Jenkins, is currently running through February 19, 2017, directed by Evan Cabnet, in its Chicago premiere at the Goodman Theatre, starring Kyle Beltran, Catherine Combs, Michael Crane, Jennifer Kim, Jeanine Serralles and Ryan Spahn.
