Chicagoland audiences will rejoice with The Marriott Theatre's first mainstage production of their 2016 Subscription Season, the heavenly Broadway musical comedy, SISTER ACT, currently in previews and opening February 17 for a run through April 3 at 10 Marriott Drive, Lincolnshire. From the Kingdom of Ipslonia comes The Marriott Theatre for Young Audiences' first show of the season, THE PRINCESS AND THE PEA, previewing February 26, running through May 3, with a press opening on Saturday, March 7 at 10 a.m. at 10 Marriott Drive, Lincolnshire. Scott Weinstein makes his Marriott Theatre directorial debut, joined by Musical Director Ryan T. Nelson, with a modern spin on the classic Hans Christian Andersen fairytale. Chicago Shakespeare Theater (CST) presents William Shakespeare's The Merry Wives of Windsor, directed by CST Artistic Director Barbara Gaines. Embraced by audiences as one of Shakespeare's most popular comedies, The Merry Wives of Windsor is an energetic romp with the loveable rouge Sir John Falstaff, performed by Scott Jaeck, as he charms and conspires against the townspeople of Windsor, only to be outsmarted by Mistress Page and Mistress Ford, performed by Kelli Foxand Heidi Kettenring.
