Stop the Presses! From their home at the Nederlander Theater, the cast of NEWSIES performed 'King of New York' during yesterday's Macy's Parade CBS broadcast. For the first time ever, television audiences had the opportunity to see a number performed on the stage of the Nederlander, where NEWSIES plays to sold-out crowds.

The cast of Newsies, The Tony Award winning new American musical, led by Corey Cott as Jack Kelly, performed the show-stopping number "Seize the Day" in-studio on the November 13 (8:00PM-9:00PM) episode of "Dancing with the Stars: All Stars" on the ABC Television Network. Following the success of the first "Get Out the Vote" event on October 14th, Broadway for Obama founders (and Broadway siblings) Celia Keenan-Bolger (Peter and the Starcatcher) and Andrew Keenan-Bolger (Newsies) in association with Women For Obama have announced another "Broadway Gets Out the Vote" Phone Bank, to be held on Monday, October 29, from 6:30pm - 9:30pm at the offices of Telsey + Company (311 West 43rd Street, 10th Floor).

Broadway for Obama founders and Broadway siblings Celia Keenan-Bolger (Peter and the Starcatcher) and Andrew Keenan-Bolger (Newsies) presented one-night-only event for Obama supporters, "Broadway Gets Out the Vote," this evening, October 14th. Multi-talented actress, singer, television host, playwright, songwriter and author Kathie Lee Gifford hosted this year's Broadway on Broadway on Sunday, September 9th, presented by United Airlines and The New York Times. The event kicked off the 2012-2013 Broadway season with star performances from new shows and long-running favorites, accompanied by a live 30-piece live orchestra directed by Alex Lacamoire. NEWSIES star Andrew Keenan-Bolger recently took the time to put together a music video for summer 2012, featuring some of his NEWSIES castmates and even some other Broadway veterans. Keenan-Bolger writes: 'I brought my camera along whenever I was hanging out with my friends this summer. I decided to compile the footage together in an unofficial video for my favorite song of the summer, '1904' by The Tallest Man On Earth.'
