ONCE UPON A TIME IN NEW YORK CITY Actors Fund Benefit Concert Plays Joe's Pub, 10/14

For generations, musical theatre writers have come to New York City to change the world. 'Once Upon A Time In New York City' is about the people who have changed THEM. This concert will feature musical theatre writers-ages 19 to 90-who were born everywhere from Kansas City to San Francisco to Montreal, established and emerging, each writing a song about someone who has changed their idea of New York City. The concert will benefit The Actors Fund.

BroadwayUnderstudies.com's 'Half Hour: A Last Minute Concert' took place on August 19th, 2012, featuring some of Broadway's most talented understudies onstage at the Laurie Beechman Theatre sharing their rare talent-the ability to perform at a second's notice. The concert's lineup included Jen Noble (Ghost) and Delius Doherty (Book of Mormon), Allison Blackwell (Porgy & Bess), Garett Hawe (Newsies), Carly Hughes (Ghost), Stephen Mark Lukas (Book of Mormon), Corey Mach (Godspell), Matthew Marks (Book of Mormon), Julia Mattison (Godspell), Constantine Rousouli (Ghost), Jack Scott (Newsies), Brendon Stimson (Newsies), Julius Thomas III (Porgy & Bess), and Laurie Veldheer (Newsies). Jen Noble (Ghost) and Delius Doherty (Book of Mormon) have been added to the line-up of understudies performing in 'Half Hour: A Last Minute Concert.' Tonight, August 19th at 7pm, BroadwayUnderstudies.com has invited some of Broadway's most talented understudies to the stage of the Laurie Beechman Theatre to share their rare talent-the ability to perform at a second's notice. The audience will get to vote on what song each performer will sing, and they wont find out the results until they step up to the microphone.
