The Met has announced themed lineups for three weeks of its Nightly Met Opera Streams, the company's ongoing series of encore Live in HD presentations and classic telecasts streamed on its website during the Covid-19 closure. The schedule begins with a week, leading up to Father's Day on June 20, comprising a selection of operas featuring themes of fatherhood.

Now available is the world premiere studio cast recording of IN THE LIGHT, A Faustian Tale, the new musical with a contemporary spin on the epic Faustus story of greed, power and lust. The recording features performances by Jeremy Jordan, Solea Pfeiffer, Ciara Renée, Antonio Cipriano, Bobby Conte Thornton and more.

After a year’s hiatus, Kronos Performing Arts Association’s KRONOS FESTIVAL returns on June 11 – 18, expanding the annual San Francisco-based event into the virtual sphere with eight exciting online presentations, including fourteen world premieres. The Royal Conservatory of Music has announced an addition to the ninth 21C Music Festival, taking place in January and February of 2022. Presented in collaboration with Tapestry Opera and Maniac Star, the world premiere of Gould's Wall will open the festival on Wednesday, January 12, 2022 at 8pm, with additional performances on January 13, 14, 15, and 16.
