Marin Theatre Company is proud to announce Rachel Bonds as the 2015 Sky Cooper New American Play Prize winner for her play Swimmers-which is currently running on the MTC mainstage-and Nick Gandiello as the 2015 David Calicchio Emerging American Playwright Prize winner for his play Sunrise Highway. Now in its ninth year, MTC's two new play prizes continue to celebrate the work of the American playwright and encourage the creation of bold, powerful new voices and plays for the American stage.
Pipeline Welcomes New Leadership, Sets 8th Season

Pipeline Theatre Company has announced the addition of Natalie Gershtein, Producing Director, to their leadership team. Gershtein joins Ari Schrier, who has served as the company's Artistic Director since 2012. In this newly created position, Gershtein will work collaboratively with Schrier to oversee the company's strategic and artistic growth, which includes the presentation of the New York premiere of Jason Craig and Dave Malloy's BEARDO in the 2016-2017 season.
Clubbed Thumb Announces SUMMERWORKS Festival Lineup

?Five-time Obie Award-winning theater company Clubbed Thumb has announced the line-up for SUMMERWORKS, its annual series of new plays. Now in its 21st season, SUMMERWORKS will run May 27 through July 9 at The Wild Project (195 E 3rd Street) in Manhattan, and will feature productions of three new plays: EVERY ANGEL IS BRUTAL by Julia Jarcho and directed by Knud Adams; THE TOMB OF KING TOT by Eric Dufault and directed by Portia Krieger; and TUMACHO by Ethan Lipton and directed by Leigh Silverman. In January, NCTC is proud to present the world premiere of a whimsical and powerful new play, Sagittarius Ponderosa by MJ Kaufman, directed by Ben Randle. Winner of the 2014 Global Age Project at Aurora Theatre Company and featured on The 2015 Kilroy List of the most recommended new plays by female and trans* writers, the play introduces us to Archer (still Angela to his family), who makes the journey back home to the forests of Eastern Oregon. His journey back proves to be just the beginning when he meets a handsome stranger at night under the oldest Ponderosa Pine. What follows illuminates the transitions of life and death, the comings and goings of love, and the mysteries of the human heart.

En Garde Arts presents BOSSS, its new site-specific outdoor performance festival featuring new works by some of the New York City's most promising emerging theatre artists, this weekend, October 23-25 throughout Hudson River Park. The opening night party at The Frying Pan will now take place on October 23 at 7pm. (Tickets for the opening night party, on board the Frying Pan at Pier 66, are $250 or $75 for artists.)
