Casting has been announced for the world premiere of the highly-anticipated May We All: A New Country Musical.

The Marriott Theatre, located at 10 Marriott Dr. Lincolnshire, will welcome spring with THE SOUND OF MUSIC, previewing Wednesday, April 13, opening April 20 at 7:30 p.m., and closing June 5, 2022.

MAY WE ALL: A NEW COUNTRY MUSICAL today announced the first round of dates for the all-star rotating lineup of guest artists who will step into the role of “Bailey Stone” during the world premiere engagement of the highly anticipated stage show.

The Muny announced today the directors, choreographers and music directors for The Muny’s 2022 season, which opens on June 13 with the celebrated return of the 2021 hit that audiences went “Whoopee!” for, the Tony Award-winning Chicago.

If you've been scrolling through TikTok this past week, you might have seen users on the app performing fast-paced steps, throwing smooth punches, and leaping through the air to the song 'Legally Blonde Remix' from the fan-favorite musical Legally Blonde. This choreography originally served as the dance call for The Muny's summer production, created by choreographer William Carlos Angulo, but it has quickly become the newest TikTok dance trend, resulting in thousands of videos on the popular app and a record number of auditions for the summer season received by the popular St. Louis theatre.

Portland Center Stage has commissioned three celebrated, innovative artists to co-create a new musical through a devised, collaborative process. William Carlos Angulo, who choreographed PCS's acclaimed production of In the Heights, will be the director and choreographer. Angulo will be joined by two artists who are new to PCS: Isaac Gómez will pen the book and Michelle J. Rodriguez (Micha) will compose the music and lyrics.

The Muny premiere of On Your Feet! is a satisfying surprise. Director Maggie Burrows and Choreographer William Carlos Angulo fill The Muny stage with an epic celebration of music and movement. This production overcomes a thin book and marginally compelling story to stage a joyful jukebox musical thanks to perfect casting and exceptional performances.

As longtime fan of DLNY, I was thrilled to be accepted into the intensive myself, and I’m excited to take you into the studio with me.
