Since coming together in 2004, four of the greatest voices in the world, David Miller, Carlos Mar?n, Urs Buhler and S?bastien Izambard have spearheaded an entire musical genre by bringing the sound of opera to the world of popular music and Il Divo is set to perform at the Fox Theatre at 7:30 p.m. Sunday, May 17.
With over 22 million albums sold to date, Il Divo continues to confirm performances around the world as part of their massive touring plans for 2009 in support of their fifth album The Promise, which is approaching PLATINUM status in the U.S.
The 2009 tour, 'An Evening with Il Divo' begins in Manchester and will perform in 31 European cities before heading to North America. Il Diva will cross six continents before closing the year in Australia, Japan and South East Asia.
In the U.S., 'An Evening with Il Divo' kicks off in Washington, DC at the Patriot Center. In addition to performances in Washington, E. Rutherford, Boston, Uniondale and two sold out performances in Chicago, Il Divo have confirmed additional performances in : Atlanta, Atlantic City, Cleveland, Dallas, Denver, Detroit, Everett, Ft. Lauderdale, Houston, Kansas City, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Orlando, Phoenix, Philadelphia, Portland, Reno, St. Louis, St. Paul, San Antonio, Santa Barbara, San Jose, Tampa and Uncasville.

Adelphi University presented the first licensed full production of RENT, the Pulitzer Prize-winning musical by alumnus Jonathan Larson B.F.A. '82, after its Broadway closing. This completely new and reconceived version of RENT kicked off the inaugural season in the University's new Performing Arts Center (AU PAC), and ran from September 23 through September 28, 2008.
