Minneapolis Musical Theatre is returning to the proverbial stage this spring with 'Hands on a Hardbody.' The musical, about 10 hard-luck Texans vying to win a new pickup truck as part of a radio contest, will be produced in the showroom at Luther Cadillac April 22-May 8, 2022.

Granbury Theatre Company's Into the Woods was co-winner of the Best Musical award at the 20th Annual Column Awards Gala on February 24, 2019, at the Irving Arts Center.

The show, which features a full-size Nissan hardbody truck on stage alongside its cast of 15, plays September 2-21, 2014 and is directed by D. Lynn Meyers.

An often over-looked subject in the musical genre is the hardworking, semi-rural blue-collar working class American, but that is exactly the focus of HANDS ON A HARDBODY. The Texas-centric musical, based on the 1997 documentary of the same title, is enjoying a phenomenal Texas Premiere.

New Line Theatre, 'the bad boy of musical theatre, ' closes its 23rd season of adult, alternative musical theatre with the American regional premiere, straight from Broadway, of the country-rock musical HANDS ON A HARDBODY, running tonight, May 29-June 21 (May 29 is a preview). New Line is the first company in the country to produce this show since its Broadway run last season.
