Comedian Guy Branum (The Mindy Project, Chelsea Lately) looks to bring a little sparkle to TV talk shows with his new mashup comedy series TALK SHOW THE GAME SHOW, premiering Wednesday, April 5 at 10pm ET/PT on truTV.

SHOWTIME has announced the pick-up of the new half-hour comedy series WHITE FAMOUS led by actor and comedian Jay Pharoah

Lincoln Center's acclaimed American Songbook series returns for its 18th season of celebrating the best in American singing and songwriting. During February and March 2016, established and rising singers and singer-songwriters across a range of genres-Southern soul, bluegrass, folk, R&B, indie rock, pop, musical theater, and more-will take The Appel Room stage for concerts that explore the many iterations of American song. And in spring, American Songbook will return to Alice Tully Hall with two dynamic women whose artistry in two very different arenas demonstrates the expansive reach of American song embodied in the series.

According to their official website, on Friday, September 30 (6 &8:30PM), improv rap/troupe Freestyle Love Supreme will play the Gramercy Theatre (127 E 23rd Street). Set to perform in the show will be founder and HAMILTON creator Lin-Manuel Miranda, along with Utkarsh Ambudkar, Arthur Lewis, Bill Sherman, Chris Sullivan, and Anthony Veneziale.

A handful of celeb friends of 'Freestyle Love Supreme' turned out to support the celebrated musical improv troupe last night at Joe's Pub in New York City, as they unveiled the upcoming new 'Freestyle Love Supreme' television series, premiering this Friday, October 17 at 10:30pm ET/PT on Pivot. Guests included multi-platinum recording artist and musician Josh Groban, star of FX's 'You're the Worst' Desmin Borges, and 2014 Tony Award-winner James Monroe Inglehart.

The high-energy, completely improvised hip hop show, from the two creators of the award-winning Broadway hit 'In the Heights,' was filmed Thursday night in NYC. According to a casting breakdown, THE HAMILTON MIXTAPE, a new musical by Tony winner Lin-Manuel Miranda, will get a New York City workshop this spring. The project will be produced by the Public Theater and will feature direction by Thomas Kail, musical supervision by Alex Lacamoire and choreography by Andy Blankenbuehler.
