Netflix has announced new additions to the cast of Black Rabbit, the upcoming limited series starring Jude Law and Jason Bateman. Among those joining are Academy Award-winning actor Troy Kotsur, Robin De Jesus, Abbey Lee, and Odessa Young. The series follows the owner of a New York City hotspot (Law) who allows his turbulent brother (Bateman) back into his life and opens the door to escalating dangers that threaten to bring down everything he's built.

Jennifer Aniston will present Barbra Streisand with the 59th SAG Life Achievement Award. A Devil Wears Prada reunion is also in the works with Meryl Streep, Anne Hathaway and Emily Blunt presenting together. After 34 years as artistic director, Fountain Theatre co-founder Stephen Sachs has announced his retirement at the end of 2024.

Brian Kite, interim dean of the UCLA School of Theater, Film and Television, announced today that Academy Award-winning actor Troy Kotsur (CODA, Spring Awakening) will deliver the keynote address at the school’s 75th annual commencement ceremony. Writer-director-producer Amy Aniobi will receive the Distinguished Alumni Award. Dean Kite will preside over the event to be held on Friday, June 10, 2022 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at UCLA’s Royce Hall.

Vendôme Pictures and Pathé Films has announced they are partnering with Tony Award-winning Deaf West Theatre (DJ Kurs, Artistic Director) to develop the stage musical adaptation of the Academy Award-nominated, smash hit film CODA. The film also made history being the first predominantly deaf cast to win the coveted ensemble prize at the SAG Awards.
