January is comprised songs written by Anastasio and McConnell and is the follows December, their album of acoustic re-interpretations of Phish songs. January was recorded and produced in January 2023 by Bryce Goggin at Trout Studios in Brooklyn, NY, and features McConnell on keyboards and vocals; and Anastasio on guitars, drums, bass, and vocals.

Just announced as Big Loud Records' newest signing, Griffen Palmer is starting the year off strong. Palmer joins an elite group of power players with the accolade, including Parker McCollum, reigning CMA Entertainer of the Year Luke Combs, Gabby Barrett, Maren Morris, Dan + Shay, Florida Georgia Line, and many more. 

Developing an affinity for music at a young age, the Ontario native grew up in a musical family, with early influences including John Mayer, Kings of Leon, Elton John, The Eagles, and Bruce Hornsby. Palmer's father bought him a drum kit in elementary school and challenged him to develop an appreciation for not just the sound.

“Pull Up” follows the moody “Vegan,” an extension of the evocative songwriting of Trey’s celebrated Heartbreak Diaries 2 EP, the 2022 sequel to his major-label debut Heartbreak Diaries. Boasting the runaway smash “Need You,” the EP has amassed more than 20 million global streams across platforms.

Co-produced by Anastasio and Vance Powell and remixed by Powell, the 18-track, 145-minute new anthology collects varied acoustic and electric highlights from the event, spanning solo material, Trey Anastasio Band favorites, and unique versions of classic songs from the Phish catalog. The track is an extension of Trey’s melodic, emotional, and vulnerable style, which he demonstrated on May’s celebrated Heartbreak Diaries 2 EP, the sequel to his major-label debut Heartbreak Diaries. Trey has demonstrated his range with vibrant and reflective singles like “Key to My Heart,” “Person I Came From,” and “Enjoy It.”
