Elvis fans from around the world will gather in Middle Tennessee March 22-25, 2018 for the 2nd annual Nashville Elvis Festival, celebrating the music and legacy of the King of Rock & Roll. The historic Franklin Theatre, located just south of downtown Nashville in the charming suburb of Franklin, Tennessee, will serve as the host venue. Graceland to Celebrate the King of Rock n' Roll's Birthday!

Music fans from around the world will travel to Elvis Presley's Graceland starting today to celebrate the King of Rock 'n' Roll's birthday. Numerous events are scheduled for January 4-8, 2018, including The Auction at Graceland, the opening of the new Hollywood Backlot exhibit in the Elvis Presley's Memphis entertainment and exhibit complex, the annual Birthday Proclamation on the front lawn of the Graceland mansion and a performance by the Memphis Symphony Orchestra. Many of the birthday celebration events will be held at The Guest House at Graceland, the new AAA Four Diamond-rated resort hotel located just steps from Graceland. Stage and Television's Keith Chegwin Dies Following Battle With Lung Condition

Stage and television entertainer Keith Chegwin has died following a long term battle with a 'progressive lung condition.' He was 60 years old. Chegwin was a regular in pantomime, most recently starring in a pantomime tour of Beauty and the Beast in March last year. He also appeared in West End shows including Tom Brown's School Days and The Good Old Bad Old Days. He starred as Fleance in Roman Polanski's Macbeth in 1971.

Natalie Simpson (Royal Shakespeare Company's recent productions of King Lear, Hamlet and Cymbeline) joins an eleven-strong cast to play Duchess Rosaura alongside the previously announced Stephen Boxer in THE CARDINAL at Southwark Playhouse. James Shirley's tragic masterpiece, directed by Justin Audibert, plays from 26 April - 27 May with a press performance on 28 April.

Elvis fans from around the world will be traveling to Middle Tennessee for the inaugural Nashville Elvis Festival, taking place March 30-April 2, 2017. Nashville Elvis Festival is a premier Elvis event unlike any other, celebrating the music and legacy of Elvis Presley. Salisbury Playhouse and Pentabus Commission New Play by Hattie Naylor

Salisbury Playhouse and Pentabus Theatre Company have commissioned Hattie Naylor (The Night Watch, Manchester Royal Exchange; Clause 39, Salisbury Playhouse Stage 65 Youth Theatre and Radio 4's The Diary of Samuel Pepys) to write As the Crow Flies. It opens at Bromfield Village Hall, Shropshire on 7 March before embarking on a national rural tour including ten performances in The Salberg at Salisbury Playhouse.
PLENTY, Starring Rachel Weisz, Extends Again at The Public

The Public Theater has announced a final extension today for the first major New York revival of PLENTY, written by David Hare. Directed by five-time Tony Award nominee David Leveaux, the show began performances on Tuesday, November 4 and was originally extended through Sunday, November 20. It will now run through Thursday, December 1, with an official press opening Sunday, October 23.
