BrightSide Theatre Artistic Director Jeffrey Cass and Executive Director Julie Ann Kornak have announced that they will begin their 10th season with She Loves Me, running from October 14 through 30th. 

The York Theatre Company in association with Riki Kane Larimer, will present the world premiere of Cheek to Cheek: Irving Berlin in Hollywood, a song and dance celebration featuring the music and lyrics of the legendary Irving Berlin, with book by Barry Kleinbort, music direction by David Hancock Turner, and directed by Randy Skinner.

In 1985 Great Performances on PBS presented a television special titled 'The Best of Broadway' that featured Tom Bosley hosting a treasure trove of performers from the American Musical Theater performing the numbers that they made famous on the Broadway stage.

Performances begin Friday, April 17, 2020 for a limited engagement through Sunday afternoon, May 17, 2020 at The York Theatre Company at Saint Peter's (entrance on East 54th Street, just east of Lexington Avenue). Opening Night is set for Thursday, April 23, 2020 at 6:45 p.m. Cast and creative team will be announced shortly.

Bernard Slade, (born Bernard Slade Newbound), the Canadian/American writer best known for his Broadway play SAME TIME, NEXT YEAR  and the TV series THE PARTRIDGE FAMILY, has died.  He passed away peacefully at home early this morning (October 30) in Beverly Hills from complications of Lewy Body Dementia. He was 89.

Calling all horror enthusiasts! Sony Movie Channel will showcase rarely-shown horror films, mostly from the '70s, with double features played twice every night beginning at 8 p.m. EST on Friday, October 25 through Wednesday, October 30. In celebration of the 25th anniversary of the network premiere of “Walker, Texas Ranger,” getTV will air the wildly popular action-adventure series starring Chuck Norris, beginning June 4. Episodes will be broadcast weekdays from 2:00PM to 6:00PM ET/1-5C and Sundays from 5:00PM-10PM ET/4-7C.

After taking the entertainment world by storm in his breakout role as 'Fonzie' in the popular sitcom 'Happy Days' (1975-85), Henry Winkler established himself as an award-winning producer and director, mixing in a few well-placed acting roles like Scream and Waterboy along the way. Winkler now joins a standout roster of celebrities set to attend next month's Wizard World Comic Con Portland, April 13-15 at the Oregon Convention Center, where he will greet fans, pose for photo ops, sign autographs and conduct an entertaining fan Q&A session.
