Showman Marti Gould Cummings, known for his inventive blend of drag, comedy, and vocal performance, announces the release of his first record, A Very Marti Holiday, available on iTunes November 1. Produced by Blake Allen, the album will feature recordings with Marti Gould Cummings, Tony Award Winner Cady Huffman, Tony nominee Daphne Rubin Vega, Olivier Award winner Lesli Margarita, Lion King star Jelani Remy, Kristina Nicole Miller, and Dear Evan Hanson's Tim Young.

The Path Fund Inc. has announced the final list of performers that will appear at the 24th Annual ROCKERS ON BROADWAY: LEGENDS LIVE ON! on Monday, November 13, 2017 at Le Poisson Rouge (158 Bleecker Street) at 8 p.m.

Featuring a lively cast of dozens, delightful music, gorgeous costumes, and those deliciously spooky ghosts, the Bay Area's favorite holiday tradition returns as American Conservatory Theater (A.C.T.) presents its celebrated production of the Charles Dickens classic A Christmas Carol. Now in the theater's 41st year of presenting the holiday classic, this version of A Christmas Carol adapted by Paul Walsh and Carey Perloff stays true to the heart of Dickens's timeless story of redemption and brings a playful sensibility to his rich language. A Christmas Carol runs December 1 24, 2017, at A.C.T.'s Geary Theater (415 Geary Street, San Francisco). Tickets (ranging in price from $20 $135) are available by calling the A.C.T. The 18th Annual Fiercely Independent Woodstock Film Festival wrapped up on Sunday with the closing night film ARTHUR MILLER: WRITER which was followed by a Q&A with director Rebecca Miller.

BROADWAY SESSIONS is described as an evening of musical performances, games and open mic featuring a new Broadway guest each week.

The broadcast premiere of Young Artists of America: The Songs of Tim Rice, airs on Maryland Public Television (MPT) Thursday, June 1 at 8 p.m. Filmed recently at MPT's Owings Mills studios, the program features symphonic, dance, and vocal performances of lyricist Sir Tim Rice's musical theater and movie hits by the Bethesda-based group, (YAA). YAA consists of students from more than 80 schools in Maryland, northern Virginia and the District of Columbia. The one-hour television special includes the talents of some 150 area students, and is hosted by Sir Tim Rice.

Shakespeare Theatre Company will once again welcome Members of Congress and distinguished Washington influencers onto its stage to perform in Will on the Hill, a lively show infused with comedic references to contemporary politics.
