On Monday, July 29, 2019, The New York Innovative Theatre Awards, announced the 2019 nominees for the annual Off-Off-Broadway awards. The It Awards have celebrated the vibrant and creative theatre community for the past 15 years.  The official announcement took place at (Le) Poisson Rouge by six celebrated artists and producers from the community including: Jazmyn Arroyo, Jennifer Betite Yen, Iyvon Edebiri, Chris Ignacio, Ashley Rogers, and Erez Ziv.

Between Two Boroughs gave Broadway World an exclusive sneak peek inside rehearsals for their upcoming World Premiere of Charise Greene's Cannibal Galaxy: a love story, directed by Jenn Haltman which will run at the New Ohio Theatre (154 Christopher Street between Washington and Greenwich Street), June 8-17. The Rose Theater invites audiences to dive 'Under the Sea' for a swimmingly good time as one of Disney's all-time favorites splashes to life in the Broadway musical adaptation of The Little Mermaid. The show opens June 3 and will run through June 26.
