Co-Hosts Judith Light and Christopher Sieber announced the nominations for the 2014 Drama League Awards, including Distinguished Production of a Play, Distinguished Production of a Musical, Distinguished Revival of a Play, Distinguished Revival of a Musical, and the much coveted Distinguished Performance Award. The 2014 Drama League Nomination announcement begins the month of celebrations leading up to the 80th Annual Drama League Awards, which will be held at the Marriott Marquis Times Square (1535 Broadway) on Friday, May 16, 2014 at noon hosted by Broadway veteran Jesse Tyler Ferguson.

On Monday, January 20, multi-platinum pop sensation Carly Rae Jepsen will visit ABC's Good Morning America to talk about stepping into the famed glass slippers as she prepares to make her Broadway debut in the title role of CINDERELLA on Broadway. As part of the segment, Ms. Jepsen will give GMA an exclusive behind the scenes look at CINDERELLA, about to begin its 2nd year at the Broadway Theatre (1681 Broadway). Jepsen will make her Broadway debut on February 4 along side film and television star Fran Drescher, who begins that date in the role of Cinderella's wicked stepmother Madame.

Broadway In Chicago just announced that RODGERS + HAMMERSTEIN'S CINDERELLA, the 2013 Tony Award®-winning Broadway musical from the creators of South Pacific and The Sound of Music, will play the Cadillac Palace Theatre (151 W Randolph) for a limited engagement from December 16, 2014 through January 4, 2015.

Producers have tapped 'Call Me Maybe' singer Carly Rae Jepsen to replace Tony nominee Laura Osnes in Rodgers & Hammerstein's CINDERELLA, currently playing on Broadway. Jepsen will step into the role on Feb. 4 for a limited 12-week run.

The producers of Cinderella announced today that television and film star Fran Drescher will make her Broadway debut as Cinderella's stepmother Madame, beginning performances on February 4th for a 10-week run through April 13 at the Broadway Theatre (1681 Broadway). The Actors Fund have been hosting special performances that have been 'thrilling audiences for more than 80 years with an electric energy unlike any other night of theatre'. According to The Fund, what makes a special performance so special is that the Broadway companies happily give their time, talent, and an extra performance to benefit The Actors Fund.

The producers of RODGERS + HAMMERSTEIN'S CINDERELLA have announced that three-time Tony Award nominee Rebecca Luker will join the cast on Broadway as Cinderella's Fairy Godmother, Marie, starting September 6 through January 19, 2014. Ms. Luker takes over the role from Victoria Clark, who will leave CINDERELLA temporarily for a new project (to be announced), returning to the musical on January 21.
