The Catastrophic Theatre Moving to MATCH

The Catastrophic Theatre is pleased to announce that it will move its operations to MATCH (Midtown Arts and Theater Center Houston) in January 2016. By doing so, Catastrophic will join a broad spectrum of Houston's arts organizations in an accessible, state-of-the-art facility that will bring together an array of artists and art lovers from across the region's diverse cultural, economic, and geographic communities. Catastrophic's audience will now be able to attend its productions in a prime location at 3400 Main Street @ Holman, easily reached from all areas in Houston and directly off the Metro rail line.

TUTS Underground, in association with Third Coast Creative, presents LMNOP - A New Muzical, April 7 - 19 in Zilkha Hall at The Hobby Center. Chaos arises when letters begin to fall from a town monument and government officials ban them one by one. The community depends on the strength of a determined teenage girl to fight for their freedom of speech. This unique musical is part romance, part clever word game and part adult fable that reminds us of how precious our liberties are and how important it is to have the courage to stand up for what we believe.

In 1999 Jason Nodler directed Tamarie Cooper and Charles Scott as the titular characters in Infernal Bridegroom's production of Wallace Shawn's MARIE AND BRUCE. Celebrating 20 years of Jason Nodler and Tamarie Cooper making theatre together and the fifth anniversary of The Catastrophic Theatre, the company is closing their 2013 season with a revival of their acclaimed production of MARIE AND BRUCE. Jason Nodler, Tamarie Cooper, and Charles Scott are all returning to the production in their previous roles, and each ensures that Houston audiences are gifted with an incredible night of theatre.
