Since 1996, Interact's mission to create art that challenges perceptions of disability has opened doors for artists with disabilities and audiences eager to experience their work, who might never have seen the arts as a life choice, but who now see the arts as essential to their humanity. With over 125 artists working in theater and/or studio arts, Interact is multi-cultural, intergenerational, and embraces the entire spectrum of disability labels.

This season Common Ground presents modern and contemporary works, as well as ballet and musical theater from area choreographers: Melinda Blomquist (CCBC), Anne O'Brien (Dancemoves), Kristi Schaffner (CCBC), and Lindsay Stallings (CGDC). Additionally, the company will present works from its repertoire, choreographed by Helanius Wilkins (Edgeworks Dance Theater), Deborah Engerman (Dawn Crafton Dance Connection), and Morgan Grubola.

Common Ground Dance Company's dancers come from Baltimore County and beyond, sharing their passion for the art of dance, and ask you to join them for Common Ground's 15th season of supporting dance and dancers in Maryland. The 8th Annual Dancing for a Common Ground Concert will create an opportunity for young dancers to perform with professional companies. Performances will be given 7 p.m. March 15, and 2 p.m. March 16, in the John E. Ravekes Theatre, CCBC Dundalk, 7200 Sollers Point Road, Dundalk, Md.
