The Flea Theater continues its partnership with Brown University's Writing for Performance program for the second annual playwriting Project Residency, taking place from March 31 - April 3, 2018.

Famed dance company Pilobolus bring their groundbreaking show Shadowland to the Van Wezel Performing Arts Hall on Thursday, March 23rd, at 8PM. Created after years of experimentation with short-form shadow play, Shadowland is part shadow act, part dance, part circus, and part concert.

Recently, Schools Chancellor Carmen Fariña visited the Flushing Family Residence to announce the Afterschool Reading Club, a brand-new literacy enrichment pilot for elementary school students living in shelters. This is the DOE's first citywide literacy-focused after school effort in shelters, and the pilot reflects the Administration's dedication to supporting the needs of students in temporary housing, and its commitment across all NYC's public schools to strengthening early literacy instruction and engaging parents as partners in students' education.

The windows they've been viewing come alive and we get to see what they saw and more - amusingly irreverent views at what the characters in the windows think and do about their lives in the stories they find themselves in.

The Flea Theater presents the New York premiere of Ellen McLaughlin's adaptation of THE TROJAN WOMEN. It will be directed by Resident Director Anne Cecelia Haney, featuring members of The Bats, The Flea's resident acting company. Opening night is tonight, September 1st.
