Trinity Repertory Company broke its all-time box office sales and attendance records with its 2018 production of A Christmas Carol, surpassing the record set last year by the same show. This season's incarnation of the holiday tradition, which ran November 9-December 30, 2018, was the 41st consecutive mounting of the Dickens classic. Completely re-invented each season with a new director, cast, and designers, the 2018 production was directed by Mark Valdez, who also directed Fuente Ovejuna, or Like Sheep to Water at Trinity Rep in 2017. Beloved acting company member, Stephen Thorne, played the role of Ebenezer Scrooge

Trinity Rep will continue its 2018-19 Season with the electrifying tale of Macbeth a Shakespearean thriller that bursts at breakneck speed with more suspense, murder, and madness than a blockbuster film. Directed by Curt Columbus, who was most recently at the helm of last spring's Ragtime, this contemporary telling of the famously-cursed play will include a live DJ and elements of magic.

Trinity Rep's annual A CHRISTMAS CAROL production is always delightful in new and exciting ways. This year, they've partnered with 56 choirs from Rhode Island (and a few from Massachusetts) to make each show unique and feature even more local talent. This is a lovely addition to the classic story, and another way that Trinity manages to give this play something new year after year. Set in a classic Victorian backdrop, this year's production features lots of singing and dancing, and some pretty fantastic effects and performances.

Trinity Rep announces auditions for children 8-12 years of age for its upcoming production of beloved New England tradition, A Christmas Carol.  Auditions will take place Saturday, September 8, 9:00 am - 1:00 pm at Cardi's Furniture, at 999 Newport Avenue, Attleboro, MA.

Trinity Rep announces tickets to its 2018-19 Season will go on sale tomorrow, August 14, 2018, beginning at 10:00 am. The 2018-19 Season is one of the largest the company has ever produced and one of the most diverse.

Trinity Rep announces tickets to A Christmas Carol will go on sale Wednesday, July 25, 2018 beginning at 10:00 am. To celebrate the production, a limited engagement flash sale will offer patrons $4 off adult tickets to non-peak performances purchased July 25 - July 29 using code ACCFLASH. Tony Award-winning Trinity Repertory Company announces the casting for its 2018-19 season as well as the addition of Daniel Duque-Estrada, the latest member to its resident acting company.  Leading the announcement of this season's cast is The Arthur P. Under the direction of Artistic Director Curt Columbus, Trinity Rep's production examines how the musical, which is set in 1906, reflects the country's current political and social climate. Based on the celebrated 1975 novel of the same name by E.L. Doctorow, the musical tackles race, women's rights, immigration, and workers' rights. Ragtime runs April 26 - May 27 in Trinity Rep's Elizabeth and Malcom Chace Theater, with press opening on Monday, April 30 at 7:30 pm. Tickets start at $25. Trinity Rep's Othello is macho, engaging and spirited

Trinity Repertory Company will open William Shakespeare's Othello in February. This production continues Trinity Rep's long tradition of generating productions of Shakespearean plays that are relevant and accessible to adult and student audiences throughout Rhode Island and southeastern Massachusetts. Under the direction of Brown/Trinity Rep MFA alumna Whitney White '15, the powerful play will explore military themes, as well as the friendships and relationships that form the basis for the legendary story of betrayal and jealousy. The play runs approximately two hours and 20 minutes with one 15 minute intermission. Othello runs February 15 through March 18, with press opening on Monday, February 19 at 7:30 pm.
