Spacey and Almodóvar to Bring 'Mother' Play to the Old Vic

Oscar-winner Kevin Spacey will collaborate with award-winning Spanish film auteur Pedro Almodóvar on a stage version of the latter's All About My Mother, which will premiere in September at London's Old Vic - of which Spacey is artistic director

Although the musical was written in 1965 it has never been performed to the public until now. In a concert recorded at the Mermaid Theatre in London, the BBC Concert Orchestra is joined by a star studded cast, headed by Stephen Fry as the narrator under the direction of Simon Lee. Introduced by Paul Gambaccini.
