Just announced, four-time Tony Award Nominee Judy Kuhn (Fun Home, She Loves Me, Chess, Les Miserables) will join the cast of Fiddler on the Roof as Golde.

Producers of FIDDLER ON THE ROOF have cancelled the Tuesday performance on October 11th, which falls out on the evening of Yom Kippur, to give company members who observe the holiday the ability to do so.

Along with the blaring burlesque trumpet that climaxes GYPSY's overture, the soft and hesitant sound of Fiddler on the Roof's opening fiddle solo that leads into Tevye's introduction of the people of Anatevka is among Broadway's most famous and beloved orchestral moments.

Though Herschel Bernardi's name was above the title on the opening nights of Broadway's BAJOUR and ZORBA, the musical theatre role he's most known for is one where he came in as a replacement, Teyve in FIDDLER ON THE ROOF.

Two new videos preview her upcoming album, which will feature new solo music by Hall-Tompkins and the current FIDDLER ON THE ROOF revival's arranger Oran Eldor and music director/orchestrator Ted Sperling.

The best of Broadway will be performing FREE on six consecutive Thursdays this summer with '106.7 LITE FM's Broadway in Bryant Park 2016' - a lunchtime series that continued this week, July 21 on the Bryant Park Stage. Hosted by LITE FM's on-air personalities, the 16th annual presentation of open-air, On- and Off- Broadway lunch hour performances will run through Thursday, August 11.

FIDDLER ON THE ROOF has just announced that it will play its final performance on Saturday, December 31, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. At the time of closing, Fiddler on the Roof will have played a total of 464 performances.

Syracuse Alums Chris Dwan (Elliot in Finding Neverland), Catherine Charlebois (long time Nessarose in Wicked) and Stephen Carrasco (Fiddler, Kinky Boots and a zillion other  shows) were on point (as the kids say). Syracuse grad heavy vocal sensation RANGE a cappella took a break from their Nickelodeon duties and racking up Hamilton YouTube views to serenade the new comers. BROADWAY SESSIONS is described as an evening of musical performances, games and open mic featuring a new Broadway guest each week. The show is created and hosted by Ben Cameron (Bway Wicked, Aida and Footloose) and features musical director Joshua Stephen Kartes on piano.  This Thursday night, May 12th, Broadway Sessions welcomes '16 graduates from the Drama Department at Syracuse University alongside notable Syracuse alums.
