Roundabout Theatre Company (Todd Haimes, Artistic Director) just announced celebrated film star & Golden Globe nominee Emma Stone will join the cast of the Tony Award-winning CABARET and make her Broadway debut starring as 'Sally Bowles' from November 11, 2014 through February 1, 2015. Current 'Sally Bowles' Michelle Williams will play her final performance on November 9, 2014.

As BroadwayWorld reported last month, Michelle Williams has extended her acclaimed run in Cabaret on Broadway through November 9, 2014, and BroadwayWorld has just learned that a new 'Sally Bowles' is on her way to the Kit Kat Klub. A rep for the show has confirmed to BWW: 'Emma Stone is in negotiations to make her Broadway debut as 'Sally Bowles' in Cabaret on Broadway at Roundabout Theatre Company.' Stone was reportedly in talks to join the show last spring, but had to pull out due to scheduling conflicts.

Roundabout Theatre Company has announced a new block of tickets is now on sale for Cabaret on Broadway starring Alan Cumming in his Tony Award-winning role as 'Emcee' and three-time Academy Award nominee Michelle Williams as 'Sally Bowles'. Tickets are now available through January 4, 2015. The production was originally scheduled to run through August 31.

Alan Cumming has just tweeted that he is feeling better and will be returning to the stage for tonight's preview performance of Cabaret. Tonight's Performance of CABARET Cancelled; Alan Cumming Falls Ill

BroadwayWorld has just learned that tonight's preview performance of Cabaret has been cancelled. Alan Cumming, who plays the Emcee, has fallen ill, and since the show is only in its first week of performances, Cumming's understudy hasn't been rehearsed. Performances are expected to resume tomorrow. Subscribers will receive a call to reschedule their tickets and single ticket holders may exchange their tickets from the original point of purchase.
