Everyday, it's a getting; closer to Jan. 18, when BUDDY HOLLY: THE BUDDY HOLLY STORY begins previews at Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park. The original jukebox musical featuring 20 of Holly's timeless hits runs through Feb. 16. The official opening night is Jan. 23.

Red Bull Theater (Jesse Berger, Artistic Director | Jim Bredeson, Managing Director) today announced the cast for the next REVELATION READING, Ben Jonson's THE ALCHEMIST, adapted by Jeffrey Hatcher and directed by Jesse Berger: Duane Boutte, Steven Boyer, Stephen DeRosa, Christopher Fitzgerald, John Glover, Tracie Lane, Teresa Avia Lim, Euan Morton, Noah Robbins, Steve Rosen, Spiff Wiegand, and more. This will take place on Monday June 24 at 7:30pm at the Lucille Lortel Theatre (121 Christopher Street, between Bleecker and Hudson Streets).

Featuring 15 instruments, 25 songs, and comprised almost entirely of Guthrie's own words, Woody Sez runs August 1-26 on the Leonard C. Haas Stage in Malvern.

This weekend, October 17-18, Carnegie Hall celebrates families with an interactive Fall Family Weekend in the Resnick Education Wing. During this free musical extravaganza, with activities ongoing from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. each day, kids and grownups alike can participate in songwriting workshops, create and play their own instruments, join in sing-alongs, listen to musical stories, and explore a digital music playground. Both days will also feature performances in the Weill Music Room by Carnegie Kids performers Sbongiseni Duma at 11:00 a.m., Elizabeth Mitchell and You Are My Flower at 12:30 p.m., and Shine and the Moonbeams at 2:00 p.m. Please note: reservations for the Fall Family Weekend are currently full, but additional guests will be admitted as capacity allows via a standby line.
