Opera Saratoga announced today the three operas that will be featured at the center of the company's 2020 Summer Festival, to be presented at The Spa Little Theatre in Spa State Park, from June 20th through July 5th, 2020.

Ahoy! Peninsula Youth Theatre (PYT) proudly presents Gilbert & Sullivan's vivacious musical classic, The Pirates of Penzance, playing at the Mountain View Center for the Performing Arts this May. This hilarious comedy operetta features a slave to duty, a winsome maiden, bumbling police, a lying major-general, not-so-dutiful daughters and a pirate king who is too tenderhearted to make piracy pay.

Lamplighters Music Theatre will spoof the award-winning British television series Downton Abbey in their much-anticipated Annual Gala this season. Titled Upside-Downton Abbey, or, The Lass that Loved a Chauffeur, the show will feature familiar characters and plot themes from the TV series but with a whole host of comic twists. This full-length original parody, set to the music of Sir Arthur Sullivan and others, is a unique event and a guaranteed afternoon of hilarity.
