Private Lives opened last Sunday in Toronto, where it will play for a limited 6 week engagement before heading to Broadway. Private Lives, the highly anticipated pre-Broadway production of Noel Coward's play, just opened in Toronto on September 25th. Starring Kim Cattrall as Amanda (fresh off her run in the same role on the West End) and Canadian favourite Paul Gross as Elyot, this new production will have a limited run in Toronto before opening on Broadway November 17th at the Music Box Theatre.

Private Lives had its opening in Toronto this afternoon, and debuted to an extremely enthusiastic crowd and great reviews. Starring Kim Cattrall (reprising the role she created in the West End) and Paul Gross, the show will enjoy a 6 week run in Toronto before heading to Broadway in November of 2011. UK Daily Mail reports that Marton Csokas and Rebecca Hall will co-star in the National Theatre's TWELFTH NIGHT as 'Orsino' and 'Viola,' respectively. The production, directed by Peter Hall, will begin rehearsals in late November. Noel Coward's dazzling comic masterpiece comes to the West End's Vaudeville Theatre for a ten week season from 24 February 2010, following a two week run at the Theatre Royal Bath (10 - 20 February).
