Following last November's successful launch (as part of the inaugural London Festival of Cabaret), Emerging Artists will return for three nights at the acclaimed Crazy Coqs. This intimate and entertaining season will feature emerging British-based writers and performers presenting original work in their own unique way. Each evening will introduce a new talent from the world of songwriting and musical theatre writing.

Aria Entertainment is delighted to announce first casting today for the second annual From Page To Stage Festival, a season of new musical theatre at the Landor Theatre from Monday 10 February to Sunday 9 March 2014. Full casting is now confirmed for the Season's three showcase readings of Merman's Apprentice, Claus The Musical and The Return of the Soldier, as well as the repertory cast for three Showcase Nights of musicals in development. Final casting for the two Headline Musicals Before The Night Is Through and The Mistress Cycle will be announced next week.

On Monday 16 December, SimG Records, the leading independent British label devoted to new musical theatre writers and artists, is to release the The Bakewell Bake Off. This brand new British musical was written and starred The Baking Committee (a collection of MA students from the prestigious Guildford School of Acting) and premiered at the Landor Theatre in October 2013.

Van Winkle - A Folk Musical is a retelling of Washington Irving's classic American tale 'Rip Van Winkle' with music and lyrics by Caroline Wigmore and musical arrangements by Jen Green. Folk is very much an acquired taste and SimG Productions have certainly taken a risk by taking on a recording which is hugely different to anything they have released before.
