BroadwayWorld has just learned that Cirque du Soleil Theatrical is coming to Broadway! Scott Zeiger, President and Managing Director just announced the new production of Cirque du Soleil -PARAMOUR, the organization's first created specifically for Broadway. Previews for this production will begin on Saturday, April 16, 2016 with an official opening set for Thursday, June 2, 2016 at the Lyric Theatre (213 West 42nd Street).

TRACES, the show that turns circus on its head, will conclude its New York engagement September 2, 2012, to embark on a European tour this fall. Created by the Montreal-based troupe 7 Fingers, TRACES has been playing the Union Square Theatre (100 East 17th Street) since July 2011. Originally intended as a 10-week limited engagement, the show opened to rave reviews, shifted to an open-ended run and, by the time of its final performance, will have played New York for over a year. Last night, August 9, the show celebrated its one-year anniversary. Check out photos from the event below!
