This August, Broadway fans can beat the summer heat new movies, television shows, and albums to stream. From new seasons of Only Murders in the Building and High School Musical: the Musical: the Series to solo albums by Idina Menzel and Reneé Rapp, check out what's coming to streaming services this month!

Sara Bareilles and Michael R. Jackson are the latest Broadway songwriters to join the upcoming season of Only Murders in the Building. The join the previously announced Marc Shaiman, Scott Wittman, Benj Pasek, and Justin Paul in writing musical numbers for the Broadway musical-themed season. Watch the video of the trailer now!

After Marc Shaiman and Scott Wittman had previously confirmed their involvement in the season, Hulu has confirmed to BroadwayWorld that Benj Pasek and Justin Paul are also two of the lyricists who contributed to the series' musical numbers. HAIRSPRAY returns to Gammage Auditorium through June 25th offering audiences a welcome revisit to the original Broadway staging of one of the most frequently produced musicals of the 21st century. Ben Brantley’s 2002 NY Times Broadway review said HAIRSPRAY is 'as sweet as a show can be without tooth decay.' Two decades later, still no cavities.

This touring production is the first to include female actresses included as regular Charlie Bucket performers. This is just one of the ways that inclusion has been developed into this production as scenes with Charlie’s mother, performed here by Leonie Spilsbury, see the actors very effortlessly include BSL as part of their character communication with each other. 

Majestic Theatre will present “Catch Me If You Can” on Friday, July 14 at 7pm, Saturday, July 15 at 7pm and on Sunday, July 16 at 2pm. Performances will be held at The Derry Opera House.
