We chat with director Wayne R. Scott about Anne of Green Gables at LifeHouse Theater. He is a writer, composer, producer and director who has authored 30 original musicals and numerous other widely produced works.  He has also produced and directed nine musicals at the internationally known Redlands Bowl, including Annie, The Sound of Music, Disney’s Beauty and the Beast, The Wizard of Oz, Disney’s The Little Mermaid, and most recently, Disney’s Mary Poppins for the Redlands Community Music Association.

According to various reports, Jeffrey Carlson, best known for originating the role of Marilyn in TABOO and Billy in Edward Albee's THE GOAT on Broadway, has passed away. He was 48.

Today, Brisbane band Dune Rats share their new video for album track 'Bad Habits'. Horror fans may remember this cult classic horror comedy film under the name ZA or Zombies Anonymous. Capital Stage presents the Sacramento Premiere of the Award Winning Play The Nether by Jennifer Haley. This haunting sci-fi thriller explores the dark side of the internet, and of human behaviour. The Nether will be Kirk Blackinton's Capital Stage directing debut and is the fourth production of Capital Stage's 2017/18 Season. Performances will run from January 24 - February 25, 2018 with a Press Opening on Saturday, January 27, 2018 at 8:00 pm.
