TEN, The Gift Theatre's annual season kickoff celebration of ten 10-minute plays, returns January 1-11, 2015. This year's premieres by The Gift and guests were curated by artistic director Michael Patrick Thornton and associate artistic director Paul D'Addario. SimonSays Entertainment, helmed by Ron Simons, a three-time Tony Award nominee and a two-time Tony Award winner, has joined the producing team of "5 Lesbians Eating A Quiche.' SimonSays Entertainment is a production company which develops projects of underrepresented communities for film, television, and live theatre, has joined lead producers Chicago Commercial Collective and Pinckard Production Partners. The show having previously run to rave reviews in Chicago and New York City opened today at the Chopin Theatre in Chicago. The New York Times said the work's "raw and magnetic dementia seems destined to attract a cult following."

Chicago Commercial Collective, which was formed to help Chicagoans discover the finest of its city's vibrant theater scene by showcasing the biggest off-Loop hits in the city, today announced that the company plans to give renewed life to two standout Chicago theater productions by staging remountings of the critically acclaimed productions.

The New Colony will introduce a new sidestage series to its 2013-14 season: OKAY CUPID created by Shawn Bowers, curated by Shawn Bowers and Sarah Gitenstein, playing March 28 and 29 at Dank Haus, 4740 N. Performances of Steppenwolf Theatre Company's fifth annual Garage Rep are scheduled to begin February 14, 2014, featuring The New Colony's world-premiere production of reWILDing Genius, Prologue Theatre Company's Chicago-premiere production of Saturday Night/Sunday Morning and Walkabout Theater Company's world-premiere production of The Wild. These innovative storefront companies perform in rotating repertory for ten weeks through April 20, 2013 (press performances are March 8 and 9, 2014).
