The Otto M. Budig Theater, the new custom-built home of the Cincinnati Shakespeare Company in Over-the-Rhine, opens on September 8 with A Midsummer Night's Dream. The production runs through September 30 and is directed by Producing Artistic Director Brian Isaac Phillips. The cast features longtime resident ensemble members Matthew Lewis Johnson as Bottom, Giles Davies as Oberon, Associate Artist Miranda McGee as Titania, and Associate Artistic Director Sara Clark as Puck. The production is sponsored by Bartlett & Co, LLC. The season is funded by ArtsWave and the season sponsors are The Otto M. Budig Family Foundation and the Ohio Arts Council.

Leading the cast is founding company member Nicholas Rose as magician Prospero who has landed on an island with his young daughter Miranda for twelve years after being overthrown as the Duke of Milan. Interested in regaining his dukedom, Prospero orchestrates a shipwreck amidst a storm, which open the play.

The production, running April 28 - May 20, 2017, will be co-directed by Producing Artistic Director Brian Isaac Phillips and Associate Artistic Director Sara Clark, and Director of Creative Education and Outreach Jeremy Dubin. Cincinnati Shakespeare Company Announces New Adult Classes For Winter and Spring

Cincinnati Shakespeare Company is rounding out its 2016-2017 educational program with a new series of adult classes. The classes run on selected Monday nights from January 23 to May 15 at 6:30-8:00 at CSC's current home theater at 719 Race St, and will be taught by members of the CSC's Resident Ensemble. There is something for everyone, with class topics ranging from the playful, such as Theatre Games, Improv, and Period Dance, to the more widely applicable, including Voice for Life and Movement for Life.

For the eleventh straight year, Cincinnati Shakespeare Company is thrilled to offer a full season of holiday cheer in just 90 minutes with 'Every Christmas Story Ever Told (And Then Some!)' by Michael Carleton, James Fitzgerald, and John K. Alvarez. This hilarious production is a non-stop holiday romp through everyone's favorite Christmas stories performed by just four actors in ninety minutes. Justin McCombs and Sara Clark, both now eleven-year veterans of the company, return to poke fun at the holiday season, joined by Billy Chace, and tenth-year company member. Miranda McGee, eighth-year company member, returns as a special guest. CSC Artistic Associate, Jeremy Dubin, returns to the director's chair. This production is one of the most popular events in Cincinnati Shakespeare Company history breaking attendance and sales records every year.
