Daniel Radcliffe will make his Broadway musical debut in the 50th anniversary revival of the Tony and Pulitzer Prize-winning musical HOW TO SUCCEED IN BUSINESS WITHOUT REALLY TRYING. Though the Harry Potter series has officially finished filming, HOW TO SUCCEED IN BUSINESS WITHOUT REALLY TRYING star Daniel Radcliff still has some obligations to the francise to fulfill. July 7-9 the show will not perform because of Radcliffe's scheduled press commitments for 'Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2,' which premieres in theatres July 15.

Daniel Radcliffe is no stranger to film roles, having become a worldwide star as the title character in all seven Harry Potter films. He's currently starring on Broadway in HOW TO SUCCEED IN BUSINESS WITHOUT REALLY TRYING, and, as he told the Daily Mail, the two might come together in the not-so-distant future: Radcliffe is in talks for a HOW TO SUCCEED film.

Daniel Radcliffe will begin previews for HOW TO SUCCEED WITHOUT REALLY TRYING tonight, and the Harry Potter star recently shared details on why he chose to join the project with the New York Times. Radcliffe commented: 'I think to a lot of people it's a slightly confusing choice, but I like that. I was going: ‘O.K., yeah, I'll do dance lessons, fine. The 21st Annual GYPSY OF THE YEAR COMPETITION announced an all time record total of $4,630,695 had been raised by the 60 participating Broadway, Off-Broadway, and National Tour companies to benefit Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS. This year's total breaks the previous record when $3,927,000 was raised for the 2007 GYPSY OF THE YEAR COMPETITION.

Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS presented the 21st Annual GYPSY OF THE YEAR COMPETITION over a two day event yesterday, December 7 and today, December 8 at the Palace Theatre on Broadway. The proceeds from the event benefit BC/EFA. This year's event raised more than $4,639,000 dollars. And the winners are in!
