OBIE award-winning The Fire This Time Festival  (TFTT) announces today its 10th anniversary festival dates and the lineup of featured playwrights who comprise the centerpiece of the annual 10-minute play program and select readings of new full-length plays.

Boxcar Theatre is pleased to announce its inaugural SUNDAY SOLO SERIES at The Palace Theatre, home of The Speakeasy, starting in January. The Series will feature three exceptional artists: magician-storyteller Kevin Blake and actor-singers Doris Bumpus and Dedrick Weathersby.

Westcoast Black Theatre Troupe Stages an Impassioned RAISIN

THEATER TO GO will be holding auditions for their upcoming production of A RAISIN IN THE SUN, by Lorraine Hansberry to be produced at Kelsey Theatre October 19-28 2018 at Kelsey Theatre in West Windsor NJ

As a part of its New Play Development initiative, Virginia Repertory Theatre, in partnership with Glass Half Full Productions, will present the world premiere of River Ditty by Matthew Mooney Keuter.  The show opens in the November Theatre on Friday, April 20th, 2018, and runs through Sunday, May 6th, with two preview performances on Wednesday, April 18th and Thursday, April 19th. A Noise Within (ANW) presents A Raisin in the Sun by Lorraine Hansberry, directed by Gregg T. Daniel, the sixth production of its 26th season performing February 25 to April 8 (Press Opening March 3). Now added - three performances - Wednesday, March 14 at 7:30 pm, Wednesday March 29 at 7:30 pm, and Sunday, April 8 at 7 pm.

Syracuse Stage has once again brought an intense and gripping production to the local stage. This time around it is Lorraine Hansberry's American classic play A Raisin in the Sun (in a co-production with Indiana Repertory Theatre) captivating audiences.

Virginia Rep presents Lorraine Hansberry's classic, A RAISIN IN THE SUN! Set in the south side of Chicago in 1950s, A RAISIN IN THE SUN begins when the Younger family receives ten thousand dollars following the death of the family patriarch. Though everyone in the family wants to use the money in order to better themselves, tensions brew when it becomes unclear how best to make that happen. A RAISIN IN THE SUN opened February 16th, and will run through March 11th.

Lorraine Hansberry's seminal masterpiece opens Friday, February 16th, 2018 , and runs through March 11th , with two preview performances on Wednesday, February 14th and Thursday, February 15th.

Teeming with emotionally-charged and nuanced performances, and led by Tony-award winning actress Trezana Beverley, Virginia Rep's RAISIN is a tour de force not to be missed. Audiences can see the Broadway-caliber masterwork through March 11 at Virginia Rep's November Theatre.
