Red Theater returns to live performance with its first show of the 22/23 season: Caryl Churchill's Vinegar Tom, directed by co-Artistic Director Clare Brennan. A Red Orchid Theatre presents Eugene Ionesco's Killing Game, directed by Ensemble Member Dado, and featuring Ensemble Members Lance Baker and Doug Vickers. Killing Game runs May 2 June 23, 2019 at A Red Orchid Theatre, 1531 N Wells in Chicago. Press performances are scheduled for Saturday, May 11, 2019 at 3:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Tickets for Killing Game go on sale Monday, April 1 at 12:00pm.

Steep Theatre will kick off its sixteenth season in September with the world premiere of Alex Lubischer's Bobbie Clearly, directed by Josh Sobel. 

Nobody from the town of Milton, Nebraska ever gave much thought to Bobbie before the tragedy in the cornfield. Two years later, it's hard for them to think of much else. In the darkly comic Bobbie Clearly, a community opens up about life in the aftermath and making sense of senseless violence.

Parisian Clowning Master and Director and Founder of Cie Umbral Theatre in Paris, Victor Quezada-Perez uses stylistic clowning to re-envision Frisch's parable about accommodating the very thing that will destroy you. In the play, mild-mannered Mr. Biedermann, emotionally castrated by his bourgeois guilt, allows two smooth-talking arsonists to burn his house to the ground.

The International Voices Project will present their first performance of 2012, THIRD WING (TERCER CUERPO) from Argentina, on Tuesday May 8 at 7pm at the Instituto Cervantes of Chicago, 31 West Ohio St., in collaboration with Instituto Cervantes and the Consulate General of Argentina in Chicago.
