The Arvada Center Artistic Producer and show Director, Rod A. Lansberry has announced the cast for The Importance of Being Earnest by Oscar Wilde. The show marks Lansberry's directing debut in the Center's Black Box Theater. The Importance of Being Earnest will run January 24 - February 19, 2012. The Arvada Center for the Arts and Humanities will be holding auditions for the musical Chess at the Arvada Center, 6901 Wadsworth Blvd., Chess will be directed by Arvada Center Artistic Producer, Rod A. Lansberry, with musical direction by David Nehls and choreography by Kitty Skillman Hilsabeck.

This time Jim takes the Arvada Center stage as the favorite 'Mother of the 50's forced into the 60's', Edna Turnblad. This fully staged regional production of Hairspray closes July 17, 2011.
