STAGE DOOR PLAYERS will present Rounding Third, by Richard Dresser, directed by James Donadio. The show opens on Friday, March 20, 8pm curtain, and runs through April 12. Performances are Thursday, Friday, and Saturday evenings at 8pm, and Sundays at 2:30pm EXCEPT there will be no Sunday Matinee on Easter Sunday, April 5. Single tickets are on sale now at the box office ?(770-396-1726), or online at www.stagedoorplayers.net. Tickets are $30; senior, student, and youth discounts are available. Stage Door Players is located at 5339 Chamblee Dunwoody Road, Dunwoody, GA 30338, approximately one block south of the Mt. Scott Fitzgerald's classic 1920's Jazz Age epic has been adapted for the stage, and is the next installment in GET's record-setting season. Directed by founding company member Tess Malis Kincaid, the show runs today, February 27 through March 16, 2014, at the Theatre's home, the Roswell Cultural Arts Center, 950 Forrest Street, Roswell, GA. The production is generously sponsored by The Bank of North Georgia.

Broadway makes its way to Atlanta this fall with the Southeastern premiere of Time Stands Still at Horizon Theatre. Playwright Donald Margulies' latest work about finding happiness in a world that seems to have gone crazy received a Tony nomination for Best Play in 2010. Time Stands Still is the fourth and final production of Horizon's 2012 season and runs tonight, September 14 - October 14.

The Suzi Bass Awards, Inc. announced nominations for the 2011-2012 Atlanta professional theatrical season this evening to an enthusiastic crowd of patrons and theatre industry artists. The Suzi Nomination Party, which rotates venues, was hosted this year by the Aurora Theatre in Lawrenceville, GA. The spacious lobby allowed guests to enjoy drinks, hors d'ouevres and the chance to congratulate their colleagues. Guest announcers, Atlanta's own funny men Bryan Brendle, Bart Hansard, Tony Larkin, Aurora Theatre artistic director Tony Rodriguez and Scott Warren shared the list of nominees while playfully riffing on the 2011/2012 Atlanta theatre season.
