Actor/director Frank Ferrante who won acclaim for his stage portrayals of legendary comedian Groucho Marx in New York, London and PBS television returns to Australia for a 35 city tour in An Evening With Groucho beginning September 30th, 2016 and playing through November 26th. Ferrante will cover much of the country including New South Wales, Queensland, South Australia, Western Australia and Victoria with stops in Melbourne, Sydney, Adelaide, Perth and Brisbane. Australia based Jally Entertainment again produces. Dreya Weber directs.

The Lost Treasures Collection, a series of rarely performed musical gems, continues its second season at Lakewood Theatre Company with the musical, Minnie's Boys. This show, the second in a series of musicals featuring movie themes, is presented in a concert/cabaret style. Minnie's Boys will be performed for two nights only, Friday, January 6 and Saturday, January 7, 2012 on Lakewood's Side Door stage. The title sponsor for the series is Banner Bank.

Playwright Arthur Marx Dies at 89

According to the NY TImes, Broadway playwright Arhur Marx has died at the age of 89. He is survived by his wife, two sons, a stepdaughter, two sisters, four grandchildren, and two step-grandchildren.
