Previews for Born Yesterday, starring Jim Belushi, Robert Sean Leonard and Nina Arianda, start tonight, March 31, at Broadway's Cort Theatre (138 West 48th Street) at 8 pm. Directed by Doug Hughes, this revival of Garson Kanin's award-winning comedy about sex and politics will open on Easter Sunday, April 24.

Producers Philip Morgaman, Anne Caruso/Vincent Caruso, Frankie J. Grande, and James P. MacGilvray have announced that casting is complete for the upcoming Broadway production of Born Yesterday, a comedy by Garson Kanin, directed by Doug Hughes. On Monday, September 13, The Actors Fund hosted a party for 'The Friends of The Lillian Booth Actors Home' at Gloria Crest, in Englewood, NJ, the former estate of film legend Gloria Swanson and now the home of the evening's hosts Jan and Edward Turen. The Turens welcomed Tony Award-winning actor Brian Stokes Mitchell, and the evening's entertainment host Emmy and Tony Award-winning actress Bebe Neuwirth. Emmy and Tony Award winner Leslie Uggams, Tony Award-nominated actor/singer Tom Wopat and singer-songwriter-pianist Peter Cincotti and his band, among others performed. Christopher Rice, the celebrated author of four New York Times bestselling thriller novels, will discuss his career and body of work in an exclusive appearance at Perfect Crime, the long-running mystery play, on Friday, May 29, 2009.

Perfect Crime, the longest-running play in the history of New York theater, celebrated its historic 22nd Anniversary and 9,000th performance with a two-day celebration April 17-18 2009. The event recognized Catherine Russell, star and general manager of Perfect Crime, for her record-breaking twenty two-year run in Perfect Crime and her induction into The Guinness Book of World Records.

The event will also feature a post-show discussion with Alison Gaylin, Edgar-nominated author of Hide Your Eyes, You Kill Me and Heartless, who will speak about the psychology of the criminal mind.
