Sadler's Wells has announced the appointment of seven new Associate Artists, who represent a wide range of dance styles and are among the most exciting talent working in dance today. 

Seas the Day was produced and mixed by Grammy award winning Chris Lord-Alge (Stevie Nicks, Steven Tyler, Keith Urban, Bruce Springsteen, Green Day) and features the band's first original song “S*x on the Beach,” accompanied by a video with a guest appearance by the Access Hollywood & iHeart host, Mario Lopez.

Ray Young's award-winning duet OUT comes to the Lilian Baylis Studio from Thursday 25 – Friday 26 April 2024. OUT defiantly challenges homophobia and transphobia while reclaiming dancehall and celebrating social dance culture.

The Theatre Royal Glasgow has announced that the UK tour of 42nd STREET is coming to the venue from Monday 21 August to Saturday 26 August 2023.

Samantha Womack will star as Dorothy Brock, alongside Michael Praed as Julian Marsh, Faye Tozer as Maggie Jones, Les Dennis as Bert Barry and Nicole-Lily Baisden as Peggy Sawyer in the UK tour of 42nd STREET. The production will visit Milton Keynes Theatre 28 August – 02 September.

Zinzi Minott makes her Lilian Baylis Studio debut this September with Black on Black, a solo dance performance exploring Queerness, Blackness and the body as an archive.

Sadler's Wells has launched a range of artist development initiatives with a focus on practice rather than performance-based outcomes, including artist-led programmes, a mentoring scheme and programmes for South Asian dance practitioners and disabled artists. 

Actor Nicole-Lily Baisden is playing the role of Peggy Sawyer; fresh off the bus from small-town America, she arrives in New York City dreaming of her name in lights. Nicole-Lily spoke to BroadwayWorld about the necessary stamina she needs for this show within the show and what playing Peggy has taught her about herself.
