Written by and starring Rob Delaney and Sharon Horgan, Catastrophe has received universal critical acclaim and a raft of awards since launching in 2015. All three series have a 100% rating on Rotten Tomatoes (representing the percentage of professional critic reviews that are positive for a given film or TV show) while series three launched on Channel 4 in 2017 to its biggest audience to date.

Rob Delaney to Host STAND UP CENTRAL on Comedy Central UK

Why white people can't be themselves unless they are in fancy dress, why the best thing about Christmas is not the presents and why fearing the fall of Western civilisation is a futile worry given we're all actually cockroaches anyway, Sunil has all the answers. An outsider on the inside, Sunil fears he may have been unwittingly integrated because his car has a National Trust sticker he can't remove. But before he delves into his findings, he will do five minutes on butt-holes. Megalodon is an hour filled with unique observations and anecdotes of parental misgivings that just might prove that Sunil Patel is Britain's answer to Noam Chomsky, for the microwave meal generation.

Today, Freeform officially begins production on the pilot “Everything's Gonna Be Okay” in Los Angeles. Written by Josh Thomas, the creator of the critically acclaimed, heartwarming dramedy-series “Please Like Me,” the half-hour comedy pilot introduces Nicholas (played by Thomas), a neurotic 25-year-old who suddenly has to grapple with the loss of his father while figuring out how to be a guardian to his two teenage half-sisters.

Today, Freeform announced a pilot order for “Everything's Gonna Be Okay,” a half-hour comedy from “Please Like Me” creator, writer and comedian Josh Thomas. The pilot introduces Nicholas, a typical 25-year-old still living at home with his single dad and two teenage half-sisters, who is not particularly helpful in raising his siblings, one of which has autism. However, when their dad becomes terminally ill, the girls have to cope with not only a devastating loss but also the realization that Nicholas is the one who will have to hold it all together.

Sundance Now, AMC Networks' premium video streaming service, announced today the acquisition of BAFTA-nominated hit British television series 'Motherland' from global content leader Lionsgate (NYSE: LGF.A, LGF.B), which has worldwide rights to the comedy. The critically-acclaimed series, written and created by Sharon Horgan, Holly Walsh, and Graham and Helen Linehan, will make its exclusive U.S. debut with the first two episodes premiering on the service Thursday, May 10th. New episodes of the half-hour comedy starring BAFTA-winner Anna Maxwell Martin (Philomena, The Night Watch), Lucy Punch ('A Series of Unfortunate Events', Into the Woods, 'Ben and Kate'), BAFTA-nominated Diane Morgan ('Cunk on Britain', Me Before You, Funny Cow) and Paul Ready (The Death of Stalin, 'The Terror') will stream weekly every Thursday until its season one conclusion on June 14th.
