In September 2013 the Hospital Club unveils the Oak Room, a new 100-capacity live performance and showcase space in the heart of Covent Garden. Designed by the award-winning Russell Sage Studio, the Oak Room will serve up an eclectic range of outstanding entertainment for members, from DJs and live performances (featuring some of the UK's best music acts) to high-end comedy, cabaret and jazz nights. Audio partners Peavey will be supplying the sound experience with lighting by Richard Martin Lighting and instruments by Fender and key music events will be recorded for broadcast through select media partners.

The Lewiston-Auburn Community Little Theatre, one of Maine's oldest community theatres, is closing its 2012-2013 season with a madcap production of Monty Python's Spamalot. The energetic ensemble directed by John Blanchette and Richard Martin romps through the zany script and songs with elan.

Abingdon Theatre Company - which has produced more than 79 new American plays in its 20-year history - concludes its 2012-2013 Season with the New York premiere of THE GOOD BOY by Michael Bonnabel, set to begin previews April 26, prior to its official press opening May 5, at Abingdon Theatre Company's Dorothy Strelsin Theatre (312 West 36th Street). Darin Anthony directs. Off-Off Broadway performances run through May 19.

Award-winning playwright Richard Martin Hirsch's newest play, The Closeness of the Horizon, which received its world premiere at the Odyssey Theatre last weekend, was inspired by the relationship between the playwright and two members of Palisades High School's 1969 City Champion basketball team. Taking place from March 1 - 4 in the Carnival Studio Theater, MIAMI MADE FESTIVAL 2012 will feature the work of 10 artists representing the incredible breadth of work emanating from Miami's ever-evolving artistic scene, including five new interdisciplinary theatrical performances (two of them world premieres!). The 2012 installment of MIAMI MADE FESTIVAL has also expanded to include more genres of the performing arts - with the inclusion, for the first time, of live concerts showcasing new music throughout the weekend and a photo exhibition.

Broadway In Chicago is thrilled to announce that former 'Saturday Night Live' and Comedy Central star Colin Quinn will move his one-man show COLIN QUINN LONG STORY SHORT, directed by Jerry Seinfeld, to the Broadway Playhouse at Water Tower Place (175 E. Chestnut St.) for a limited three-week engagement from Aug. 24 - Sep. 10, 2011.
