Children's Theatre Company's upcoming world premiere brings together an impressive team of 2013 Ivey Award winners. Peter C. Brosius directs lauded actor Dean Holt who will bring his comedic physical prowess, for which he won a 2013 Ivey Award, to the title role in The Scarecrow and His Servant by Philip Pullman, adapted for the stage by Jeffrey Hatcher, recipient of the 2013 Ivey Award for Lifetime Achievement. Brosius received the 2013 Ivey Award for his direction of If You Give a Mouse a Cookie, also featuring Dean Holt. This fast-paced, physically adept world premiere runs on the UnitedHealth Group Stage March 11 through April 6 after years of development, including workshops at the Kennedy Center's New Visions/New Voices festival.

Children's Theatre Company (CTC) serves a special treat to Twin Cities' audiences for the holidays with Cinderella, a fan-favorite in the theatre's repertory. Filled with hilarious contemporary allusions, audience participation and epic pop song numbers, this production will have audiences clutching at their sides with laughter and dancing in the aisles.

This year CTC is bringing back the holiday classic Dr. Seuss' How the Grinch Stole Christmas. This is the story about a mischievous and grumpy Grinch who hates Christmas so much that he has decided to steal it from his neighbors, the Christmas-loving Whos down in Whoville. With the help of his faithful dog Max and a reality check from the tiny Cindy-Lou Who, the Grinch comes to realize that you can't steal Christmas because Christmas doesn't come from the store, "maybe Christmas...perhaps...means a little bit more."
